–F Tayshaun Prince has lost his touch from long range. Prince has made just two of 12 three-point attempts this month, including a 1-for-3 effort against Miami Wednesday. He’s shooting 35.5 percent on three-point tries this season, his lowest since he shot 35 percent from long range in 2005-06.
–C Chris Wilcox started in place of Ben Wallace, who was sidelined with a sore knee. Wilcox contributed 10 points and four rebounds, his fourth double-digit scoring output in the last five games.
“He’s done a real nice job getting points in the paint,” head coach John Kuester said.
–G Ben Gordon was blanked in 11 minutes of action. Gordon, who only attempted one shot, didn’t get into the offensive flow because starter Richard Hamilton was hot, scoring a game-high 27 points in 37 minutes. It was Gordon’s second scoreless game this season. He was also blanked against Oklahoma City earlier this month.
–F Jonas Jerebko (partial Achilles’ tendon tear, right leg) underwent surgery on Oct. 8 after crashing to the floor while driving to the basket during the opening preseason game. He is not expected to play this season.
–G Terrico White (fractured fifth metatarsal, right foot) was injured during the Pistons’ preseason opener and also underwent surgery Oct. 8. He has returned to practice but it’s uncertain if he will play this season.
–C Ben Wallace (sore knee) did not play against Miami Wednesday. He is questionable to play at Cleveland Friday.
