Tigers Top The Astros

LAKELAND, Fla. (WWJ/AP) - The Tigers pick up their twentieth win of Spring with an 8-4 victory over the Houston Astros on Sunday.

 
As heard on 97.1 The Ticket, Miguel Cabrera was a triple shy of the cycle and drove in four runs, aiding in the Detroit win. Cabrera connected for his fourth homer of spring training.

Brad Penny, who will start the Tigers' second game of the regular season Saturday at New York, gave up two runs in six innings.

Wandy Rodriguez threw 90 pitches in three innings for Houston. He allowed six hits, four walks and five runs.

Carlos Lee hit a two-run homer off Detroit's Daniel Schlereth in the eighth inning.
