No More Stray Cats For Animal Control Pick-Up

OAKLAND COUNTY (WWJ) - Oakland County is cutting back on its animal control services and will now say "no" to picking up stray cats.

Officials say budget cuts in local communities are forcing the county to take over dog-control services for more and more cities and towns and they have less time to pick up the unwanted cats.

The county will make an exception in cases where the cat has bitten someone.
