Big 3 Auto See March Sales Increase

DETROIT (WWJ) – The Big Three saw an increase in car sales in March.  Chrysler’s sales were up 31% over March of last year, while Ford saw a 19% sales increase and GM had an 11% increase.  WWJ auto analyst John McElroy says there’s good news for Ford.

McElroy says Chrysler’s 31% jump in sales really bodes well because it’s in the process of introducing 16 new models this year.

The big news is that Ford outsold General Motors in March and that is a milestone in this industry says McElroy.
