Matt Dery’s Daily Update 4-1-11

The Pistons host the Bulls tonight but all eyes will be on the half time festivities when Dennis Rodman gets his number 10 raised to the rafters at the Palace. The long time Piston and the man that redefined the NBA’s defensive player of the year award is back in town. The “worm” did give Greg Monroe his blessing to continue to wear the number 10, the two talked today before the Pistons morning shoot around. Detroit has dropped 10 straight to Chicago.

The Red Wings leaving for Nashville today where they will face the Predators tomorrow afternoon, Mike Modano will play despite missing practice yesterday.

Tiger get today off before resuming their series with the Yankees tomorrow, Brad Penny against A.J. Burnett.

MSU Football loses two players to injury for the rest of spring practice, Antonio Jeremiah with an ACL and Nate Klatt because of a broken foot.
