Obscene Chrysler Tweeter Gets New Job

DETROIT (WWJ) - The man who made headlines after he was fired because he mistakenly put an obscene tweet on a Chrysler Twitter account has a new job.

Twenty-nine year-old Scott Bartosiewicz was fired from his position at Chrysler after posting the following tweet on @chryslerautos twitter account early in March:

"I find it ironic that Detroit is known as the #motorcity and yet no one here knows how to f*****g drive."

Now, Bartosiewicz said he has been hired to handle social media for the Arts, Beats, and Eats Festival in Royal Oak, and he's happy to get this second chance.

"I've been born and raised in Detroit and to just have such a great opportunity to be apart of something that's positive for the entire area at such a young age, and especially after what's just happened, it's really exciting for me and its a huge opportunity and im just so excited to have it," Bartosiewicz said.

The Festival's Organizer Jon Witz said he appreciates Bartosiewicz's level of expertise and enthusiasm about the festival. Witz spoke with WWJ's Chrystal Knight about why he decided to give Bartosiewicz a second chance.

"He's an MBA student, I thought that he had accomplished a lot in his career at a young age, and vas very impressed when i met with him in person," Witz said.

Among other things, Bartosiewicz's new job will have him promoting Arts, Beats and Eats on Facebook and Twitter.
