Detroit Red Wings Roster Report
--RW Drew Miller is making a strong case to be a regular in the playoffs. Miller, who's been rotated with Kris Draper as a healthy scratch in the past six weeks, has scored a goal in each of the last two games. He is driving to the net with determination, going to the hard areas of the ice.
--D Nicklas Lidstrom finished with a minus rating for the first time in 19 seasons (minus-2). It is not reflective of his performance, however, as the soon-to-be 41-year-old is a leading candidate to win his seventh Norris Trophy as the league's top defenseman.
--C Justin Abdelkader continues playing the type of gritty, physical game the team wants to see from him in the playoffs. He registered a game-high five hits. He also played a key role on the penalty-killing units which killed all three Chicago power plays. And he went 11-10 in faceoffs.
MEDICAL WATCH
--G Chris Osgood (surgery on Jan. 11 for a sports hernia) is on long-term injured reserve.
--D Niklas Kronwall has missed five games with an upper-body injury but expects to return for the start of the playoffs.
--C Henrik Zetterberg has missed two games with a lower-body injury. He is not expected to be ready for the start of the first round.
