DETROIT (WWJ) – A 52-year-old male teacher from the Plymouth-Canton School District, arrested Thursday morning at school after allegedly threatening another staff member, will face formal charges Friday.

The incident prompted the district to cancel classes for 6,300 students at the three high schools on campus, as a precautionary measure but some teachers still reported for work.

Classes will resume Friday.
