Free Health Checks Available Through Wayne County
DETROIT (WWJ) - Wayne County this week is offering free health checks for those without insurance. Wayne County Health Director Edith Killins is expecting a big crowd at the event at Cobo on Wednesday.
"Thousands is correct and we really do want thousands to show up, last year we had close to 5,000 show up, so every year, and we are in our fifth year, it gets larger," says Killins.
The health screenings will be offered on Wednesday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
