Missing Man Found Dead At Beach
DETROIT (WWJ) - The body of a 71-year-old Muskegon County man missing for more than a month has washed up on a Lake Michigan beach.
Police identified the body as Allen Morey of White River Township, who was reported missing March 8 when he didn't show up for Bible study.
Morey's body was discovered Monday by someone walking along the beach near Fruitland Township.
His vehicle was parked at the channel, and his hat had been found floating in the water.
The cause of death hasn't been determined.
