Kid Rock: I've Got The Worst Stage Name

DETROIT (WWJ) - It may not be as bad as a boy named Sue, but Kid Rock says he really hates his stage name.

In the May issue of Esquire, The Kid, real name Robert Ritchie, says his stage name is the worst, adding the only person with a dumber one is the Fresh Prince.

Rock says he'll be an 88-year-old man still telling people to "Call me Kid". Of course, he's not a "Kid" anymore.

He celebrated his 40th birthday in January.
