Haworth Exec Reveals Hot Export Markets: The new, hot export markets include China, the Middle East and Brazil, according to John Mooney, global vice president of finance for Haworth. Mooney will share insights into these export markets during the 26th annual World Trade Week West Michigan Business Conference. The conference, sponsored by the Van Andel Global Trade Center at Grand Valley State University, will offer practical advice on business development, export financing, and how to compete globally. "Growing Your Export Sales to Hot Markets" will be held Monday, May 4 at 2 p.m. at Eberhard Center, 301 W. Fulton St., Grand Rapids. Mooney also serves as secretary of the Board of Directors and is the executive sponsor of Global Sustainability at Haworth. He is responsible for all financial aspects of the worldwide organization including financial analysis, manufacturing accounting, general accounting and international finance, as well as corporate strategy and sustainability. He has a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from DePaul University. There are other events taking place during World Trade Week West Michigan, May 2-6.
