Founded in 2004, KBS provides services to businesses, nonprofit organizations, universities, and communities whose projects advance new energy solutions, enhance natural resource protection, and create economic opportunities for Michigan. Apostol brings a wealth of experience to the KBS team, having held positions at the Michigan Department of Natural Resources for over 25 years. Most notably, Deb was in leadership roles within DNR’s Grants Management Section supporting the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund and Land and Water Conservation Fund. Enhancing KBS’s existing project development experience, Deb will support communities in the development of recreation plans and grant applications to the MNRTF, LWCF, and the new Recreation Passport grant program, as well as other state and federal programs. Deb will also assist communities who have received grants to support the successful completion of their projects. More about KBS at www.kbsincorporated.com.
