‘Charles Woodson Day’ In Ann Arbor

ANN ARBOR (WWJ) – Charles Woodson won the Heisman Trophy at Michigan and a Super Bowl with the Green Bay Packers. Now, the All-Pro cornerback got his own day thanks to his alma mater.

Patients, hospital staff and well-wishers showed their appreciation at U of M’s Mott Children’s Hospital during “Charles Woodson Day.”

The former Wolverines standout has given his time and money to the hospital over the years, visiting patients and personally donating to the Champions for Children campaign to build the new Mott Children’s Hospital, which opens in November.
