Flood Advisory Issued Until Noon Thursday

SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) – More soaking rains overnight with some area roads waterlogged in spots Thursday morning.

Now, because of the rain, a flood advisory has been posted until noon Thursday for all of southeast Michigan. Forecasters say runoff from the excessive rain will cause minor flooding especially along small streams and on some roads and freeways along with underpasses.

There is some flooding reported on westbound I-94 near I-75, on eastbound Six Mile between Inkster and Middlebelt in Livonia and on Milford Road. We are expecting another inch of rain or so throughout the morning.
