Beatification Ceremonies Celebrated In Orchard Lake
ORCHARD LAKE (WWJ) - Two days of ceremonies will take place at Orchard Lake Schools, at the same time the beatification ceremonies for the late Pope John Paul II takes place in Vatican City.
The celebration kicks off Saturday afternoon, with Polish Constitution Day festivities, including a picnic and dinner.
An all night vigil begins at 9 p.m., followed by a procession at 3 a.m. Sunday, to the Shrine Chapel, where participants can watch a live viewing of the pope's mass at 4 a.m.
Orchard Lake Schools are located on Indian Trail.
