Tanks… a lot! 

That’s what the U.S Army ordered, and received, starting in April, 1941 from Chrysler’s newly-built Warren Tank Arsenal – itself an amazing accomplishment of engineering at breakneck speed.

As the crowd roared with delight, the first battle tank ran an obstacle course with cannon and machine guns blasting, then headed off to help America’s newly-forming armored divisions prepare for the war that was only months away.
