Clean Energy Coalition’s growth has led to its recent move to a nearly 6,000-square-foot space on the north side of Ann Arbor.
Originally built in 1933, the office building has been sustainably renovated by local real estate developer Peter Allen and overlooks the Huron River.
The new office consolidates two spaces from nearby Ypsilanti while providing enough room to allow further expansion.
CEC has played a role as a provider of local jobs, something executive director Sean Reed is proud of, and feels is “important in Michigan. I intend to keep pushing that as much as I can,” he noted.
Additionally, the single office will provide better means for communication and collaboration, and will provides more public exposure and visibility, as it is passed by approximately 25,000 cars daily.
