Merit Network Offers Master Software Asset Management Course: Every organization faces challenges in managing its software assets. Software contracts are complex and have unique terms; users add unauthorized software to organizational computers; devices are retired without attention to the software contained on them; and there is the persistent threat of piracy, placing the organization at legal risk. Merit Network is bringing to Michigan three courses geared toward helping organizations master their acquisition and ownership of software. Taught by LicenseLogic of Washington, D.C., these courses will be taught in Grand Rapids on June 28-30, replacing the previously announced dates of May 9-10. Merit first hosted these classes in February, and based on strong demand and positive response we have arranged for a quick return to help continue learning in this important area. You can take any one of the classes, the first two, or all three. Prices for Merit Member organizations are significantly discounted; additional discounts are available for attending multiple days, and to organizations that send multiple attendees. Merit Members are also eligible for scholarship funding. Complete information and registration are available now at www.merit.edu/learning/csm2.
