Teens Arrested In Home Break-In

MACOMB TWP. (WWJ) – Three teens are in custody after the Macomb County Sheriff’s office said they broke into a vacant home near Atwood Elementary School in Macomb Township.

One of the teens was arrested, but two fled from police — triggering a lockdown at the school for about an hour.

Sheriff Tony Wickersham tells WWJ Newsradio 950 that the teens, all 9th graders, could be charged with home invasion and entering a vacant building.

No one was injured.
