I think every Red Wings fan in the area knows that the series with the Sharks is over. As much as we want to believe that the Wings can do the unthinkable and climb back from a 3-0 deficit we all know that it’s just not going to happen. Only 3 teams in the history of the NHL have pulled off winning four in a row in a series and the last time it happened was just last year so I repeat: it’s not going to happen! But we are the fans and media, what do the players think? Do they think they have a chance to come back and get on a roll against a Sharks team that has won 7 one goal playoff games in a row against them? They say they do, but what else would they say? The athletes have to be confident and prepared while fans have the luxury of being realistic if they choose to be.

So what do you think? In what scenario could the Wings come back and somehow advance to the Western Conference Finals by beating San Jose in 7 games? I can’t see it, do you? Watch the Jimmy Howard, Henrik Zetterberg and Nick Lidstrom videos below and find out what the Wings are saying about how they can get back in this series and then make your own decision! Also check out what reference Babcock uses in his video to describe what his team is going through.
