Kettering U Sets Troy Networking Reception: More than 80 alumni and friends of the Kettering/GMI Southeast Michigan Chapter will gather Thursday, May 12, in Troy for its annual networking reception.  The event runs from 5:30-9 p.m. at the San Marino Club, 1685 E. Big Beaver Road in Troy. Bonnie McArthur, senior advancement officer at Kettering University, invites Southeast Michigan professionals to this evening of interacting and conversation with Kettering/GMI alumni and friends. “Bring your business cards, small business brochures and resumes to share. We will have both formal and informal networking discussions,” McArthur said. “This is an opportunity to rub shoulders with successful Kettering entrepreneurs. Networking table discussions will range from finding a job to favorite vacation spots. Topics include resume critiquing, interviewing suggestions, financial outlook, and life-work-balance issues.” A highlight of the evening will be an update on the University by Kettering President Stan Liberty and the presentation of Bob Wolforth Scholarships to four talented Kettering students. Cost of the evening is $25 per person or $45 per couple and includes hot and cold hors d’oeuvres. A cash bar will be available. Reservations are requested.  Please contact Jenniffer Major at jmajor@kettering.edu or call (888) 884-7741, ext. 9883.  The event is sponsored by Brooks Kushman and Liberty Mutual.
