MiCTA Picks E-Rate Central For Members' E-Rate Consulting Services
Saginaw-based MiCTA, a national non-profit cooperative purchasing organization, has selected E-Rate Central to provide E-Rate consulting services to its eligible members.
MiCTA's Master Service Agreement will enable E-Rate eligible MiCTA members to purchase exceptional E-Rate consulting services at a discount.
The E-rate is a discounted rate on Internet connectivity, computers and other electronic gear offered to educational institutions and other nonprofits through a service charge on phone bills.
Said MiCTA COO Tim von Hoff: "The E-Rate program is vitally important to our eligible K-12, rural healthcare and library members. Being able to offer E-Rate consulting services from E-Rate Central will enable our members to take advantage of significant discounts on telecommunications and Internet services."
Using MiCTA's Master Service Agreement, E-Rate eligible MiCTA members may contract for complete E-Rate consulting services from E-Rate Central cost-effectively. MiCTA's cooperative purchasing model delivers competitively bid contracts that provide significant cost savings to its members and eliminates their need to conduct their own competitive bidding processes.
The MiCTA Master Service Agreement with E-Rate Central is effective through April 2013.
