DTE Energy Cuts Check To Warren For Energy-Saving Lighting

DETROIT (WWJ) – DTE Energy writes the city of Warren a check for just over $41,000 dollars for energy-saving lighting improvements.

Warren entered into an agreement with the utility company to install LED street lighting equipment at various locations, replacing 245 traditional street lights with energy-efficient LED lights.

DTE says Warren will save over 102,000 kilowatt-hours alone by installing LED’s along Ryan Road from 10 Mile to 11 Mile.
