Overturned Semi Closes Van Dyke Roundabout

STERLING HEIGHTS (WWJ) – Traffic was slow in Sterling Heights, Monday morning, after a semi truck flipped over.

The rig ended up on its side in the roundabout on southbound Van Dyke Avenue at 18 1/2 Mile Road. The roof of the trailer was ripped open when it hit a light pole.

A Bobcat loader was brought to the scene to unload the overturned tractor-trailer.
