Pistons Host Point Guards For Workout On Wednesday

DETROIT (WWJ) - On Wednesday, the Detroit Pistons will host UCLA's Malcolm Lee and Charleston's Andrew Goudelock for a workout according to thehoopsreport.com.

Goudelock has scheduled 17 workouts before the June 23 NBA draft, the workout with the Pistons is just one of them. Goudelock could be a candidate for the Pistons in the second round with their No. 52 overall pick says the Detroit Free Press.

CBS reported in April that UCLA guard Malcolm Lee would be putting his name in the NBA draft and planned to hire an agent, which would end his college basketball career.

The 6-foot-5, 200-pound junior from Moreno Valley, Calif., was the Bruins' second-leading scorer with 13.1 points per game this season.

He shot 44 percent from the field, 29 percent from 3-point range and 78 percent from the line.

The Pistons may consider Lee with their No.33 overall pick in the second round.

Lee continues a trend at UCLA in which 10 players have been drafted in the last seven years of coach Ben Howland's tenure.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
