A new book on IT services, “Computer Services Ungeeked,” has hit the market, written by Bob Breitman, president and CEO of IT That Works Midwest, and Drew Sanford, COO of ITTW-South.
“We have heard many business owners and executives express frustration and confusion about the quality of IT service providers they have engaged, so we wanted to help the business community make appropriate choices when selecting an IT consultant,” Breitman said.
That’s exactly what the cover of the book promises: “The ultimate small-business owner’s guide for finding a professional, competent, honest, and dependable computer services provider.”
According to Breitman, the book is written in a clear, business-focused (rather than techno-geek) approach, and addresses many aspects of choosing an IT professional that businesses often don’t know to ask, or don’t take time to think about asking.
An introduction to the book is written by Matt Roush, Editor, The Great Lakes IT Report (an e-publication of WWJ Newsradio 950).
“Overall, our objective is helping businesses turn technology into a competitive advantage,” Breitman said. “If technology is not contributing to the company’s bottom line, technology choices should be re-examined.”
