Crews Working Around The Clock To Be Ready For Electronic Music Fest

DETROIT (WWJ)- Lights were going up and crews were still setting up audio systems and doing sound checks at the five different stages Friday afternoon on the grounds around Hart Plaza.

Organizers say the downpour of rain put them behind, and they have been working around the clock to have everything ready when the gates open up Saturday at noon.

Mike Fotis is the production manager for the movement festival: "We're doing touch-ups, we're making sure everything is safe and we look good, wires are neat and systems are double-checked, and we do the final tuning on our sound systems," notes Fotis.

The event kicks off Saturday at noon, features five performance stages, and more than 100 artists.

It's expected to draw thousands of people from around the globe.

There is a fee for admission and you can get complete information about the electronic music fest by clicking on here.
