Stepped-Up Police Presence At Lahser High

BLOOMFIELD, TWP. (WWJ) - One Oakland County School would rather be safe than sorry.

Bloomfield township Police say there was no indication of credible threats after threatening messages were discovered on a bathroom wall at Lahser High. But as a precaution, patrols will be visible around the school Tuesday morning and throughout the day as the campus will be in what they are calling a "secure mode." School liaison officers are trying to determine how the messages came to be and who may be responsible for them.

Anyone with information is asked to call Bloomfield Twp Police.
