Powerhouse Concerts Set For DTE; Fox

CLARKSTON (WWJ) –Imagine listening to the powerful hits of Led Zeppelin, such as "Stairway to Heaven" and "Black Dog," performed by a 50-piece orchestra AND a full rock band.

If you've never had the opportunity to experience "The Music Of Led Zeppelin: A Rock Symphony," tonight's your chance. For the seventh time in the past eight years, this musical extravaganza will be performed at the DTE Energy Music Theatre. In addition to the legendary music of Led Zeppelin, the rock symphony will feature a stunning, state-of-the-art light show.

The Music Of Led Zeppelin is two hours of 18 Led Zeppelin songs. According to producers, the show bridges the gap between rock n' roll and classical music with an orchestra arranged to enhance Led Zeppelin's original material. The show was originally developed for the Virginia Symphony, but since its debut, has been performed at venues throughout the United States.

R. KELLY ADDS SECOND DETROIT SHOW

DETROIT (WWJ) - R&B superstar R. Kelly has added a second Detroit show to his "Love Letter Tour." The newly added show – featuring special guest Marsha Ambrosius – is set for Sunday, July 10, at the Fox Theatre. Ambrosius is a six-time Grammy-nominated singer/songwrier/producer.

R. Kelly is touring in support of his latest CD, Love Letter, featuring the two hit singles, "When A Woman Loves" and the title track, which hit the #1 position on the Urban AC chart and stayed there for four consecutive weeks.
