New Art Exhibit At Compuware

Portions of the rarely seen art collection owned by Compuware Corp. (Nasdaq: CPWR), the technology performance company, will be displayed in an innovative exhibition that opens Thursday, June 9 at the company's gallery.

Along with Compuware's artworks, which range from contemporary blown glass to Uzbek textiles, will be works by local artists that respond to pieces in the Compuware collection.

The local artists, who include Corrie Baldauf, Janet Hamrick, Stacey Malasky, Senghor Reid and Alison Wong, breathe life into the Compuware objects in surprising ways.

Objecthood opens to the public Thursday at 5 p.m. inside Boutique: A Compuware Gallery, located at 99 Monroe Street downtown, between Farmer and Randolph. The exhibition will be open every Friday until July 8 in the gallery from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
