PONTIAC (WWJ) – The road to “Oz” is coming to Metro Detroit. Disney’s “Oz: The Great and Powerful” is looking for extras for the Sam Raimi directed movie, which stars James Franco and Mila Kunis.

Directors are looking for extras as they prepare to begin filming this summer at Raleigh Michigan Studios.

An open casting call for those 18 and older is set for 11 am to 4 pm June 11. It will be held at Raleigh’s vast new complex at 1999 Centerpoint Parkway in Pontiac.

Interested candidates must bring a head-shot photo to leave with the casting agents.

“Oz” is seeking younger extras, too. Parents of children ages 6 to 16 can apply for their kids by sending a photo, name, phone number and sizes to: Oz Extras Casting, PO Box 729, Bloomfield Hills 48303-0729.
