Ranking Of Best & Worst Paying Jobs In U.S.

DETROIT (WWJ) - The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics has just completed a survey on the best and worst paying jobs in America.

WWJ Newsradio 950's Rob Sanford reports that the government says 9 of the nation's top 10 highest paid professions are in the medical field, including OB-GYN, anesthesiologist, general practitioner, and orthodontists...to name just a few.

However, that's a little deceiving when you consider how much is paid for malpractice insurance.

At the other end fast food cooks, dishwashers and shampooers make some of the lowest full-time salaries.

Last year the average wage for all US workers was $44,410.
