WINTER WEATHER ALERT: SNOWFALL TOTALS  | TRAFFIC | LIVE RADAR| SCHOOL CLOSINGS

BATTLE CREEK (WWJ) – It’s a case of an alleged deadly assault.  And the weapon is peanut butter.

A Battle Creek woman who told police she’s highly allergic to peanuts wants assault charges against her husband’s ex-wife for sending him a letter smeared with peanut butter.

The woman told police she believed the peanut butter on a bill was an attempt to harm her.

The ex-wife told police she didn’t mean any harm.

The Calhoun County prosecutor’s office has not returned a call left by WWJ seeking comment but is reviewing the case.

    That’s nuts!

The ex wife is a nut job. Of course she meant harm. That peanut butter didn’t just get on that letter by accident. Why can’t ex’s just leave it alone and move on.
