Cursing Dad Banned From Saginaw-area Youth Baseball

SAGINAW TOWNSHIP (AP) - Police say a Michigan father has been banned from attending a youth baseball league's games after he got into a dispute with another spectator.

The Saginaw News reports that police in Saginaw County's Saginaw Township have issued a trespass warning against the Saginaw man, threatening him with arrest if he returns to the South Little League fields at Zauel Park. The league is for 7- and 8-year-olds.

Police say he got over-excited about his child not being picked for the all-star team, got angry with a coach and was using the F-word on Saturday.

The man was involved in what police described as a minor assault with another parent before police arrived.

No arrests were made and no injuries were reported. The parent's name wasn't immediately released.
