Search Resumes For Missing Boater

ESTRAL BEACH (WWJ) - Crews will soon resume the search for a boater who went missing on Lake Erie in Monroe County.

Monroe County Sheriffs Department got a call around 9 pm Tuesday concerning an empty boat turning up on the Estral Beach shoreline.

Police determined the boat was registered to 55-year-old Susan Zatek of Livonia.

When contacted by police, family members told investigators Zatek was on the lake, fishing alone.

The U.S. Coast Guard will resume the search for Zatek Wednesday morning.
