SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) – Jim Berry, the Consumer Electronics Association’s genial “Digital Answer Man,” paid one of his gadget-packed visits to the WWJ Newsradio 950 studios Thursday.
Berry visits WWJ around this time every year, showing off the latest gifts for dads and grads, as well as what’s going to be hot for the holiday season, which will be here before you know it.
Berry showed off the latest and greatest in tablet computing, with screens of seven and 10 inches, and spiffy new e-readers for the literary set.
There was also cute stuff — character thumb drives — and fun stuff — three-dimensional video on a handheld game rig that doesn’t require any glasses.
But most amazing of all was a tiny little speaker that produces amazing sound out of an iPod.
