Online Tech Inc. will hold another in its series of cloud computing seminars Tuesday, June 21 at NextEnergy and TechTown in Detroit.
The free event begins with registration and breakfast at 8:30 p.m. with the morning program running from 9 to 11:45 a.m. at the auditorium at NextEnergy, 461 Burroughs in Detroit. At that point, attendees will go across Burroughs Street to TechTown, 440 Burroughs, for a lunch workshop where companies will be able to ask questions and present the cloud backup and disaster recovery problems they’re having.
At 12:30, the event will feature two breakout sessions — a track that discusses disaster recovery, cloud computing and Storage Area Network-to-Storage Area Network replication options for high availability in disaster recovery. The second breakout track will feature David Barton of UHY, Adam Goslin of High Bit Security and Joe Dylewski of ATMP Group talking about cloud computing and regulatory compliance, including compliance with PCI standards for credit card processing and HIPAA compliance for health care transactions.
