TechTown has launched a new talent page on its Web site to help connect talent with opportunities in Southeast Michigan.
“We’re working with entrepreneurs and startups to help fill the need for top talent and retain all the talent needed in our region,” said Entrepreneurial Talent Champion Faris Alami.
The talent portal features these opportunities:
*Companies can apply to host an intern. Some programs provide 50 to 100 percent reimbursement of an intern’s salary.
* A jobs portal allows interns, job seekers and companies to post opportunities and apply for openings.
* Professionals in transition can learn about the Michigan Shifting Gears program. The next session starts July 12.
*Experienced professionals can apply to mentor TechTown startups or Shifting Gears program participants.
