Police Questioning Suspect In Beating Death Of 17-Year-Old

WARREN (WWJ) - Police in Warren have arrested one suspect in the killing of a 17-year-old who was chased and then beaten to death last week. Police believe the death is the end result of a neighborhood dispute that got out of control.

Warren Police Lieutenant Craig Garwood says it was a senseless crime: "An assault and battery that got carried out too far ... it's just a shame," said Garwood.

Lieutenant Garwood says one suspect was arrested at a home near Conant and East Outer Drive, on Goddard, but several of the other suspects remain at large.

Warren Police are urging the public to contact them with any information on the crime.
