7-Year-Old Takes Car For Ride To See Dad

CASEVILLE (WWJ) -Police in Caseville say they stopped a 7-year-old boy who'd taken his step-father's car on a 20-mile drive to see his biological father, about 13 miles north of his mom's house.

Police started looking for the Pontiac Sunfire after someone called about a kid driving a car.

The boy had trouble opening the door when he finally stopped the car.

Police say the boy's mother had worked the night shift and was unaware the boy and car were gone.
