Body Found In Detroit’s Riverside Park

DETROIT (WWJ) – A body has been found floating near a boat launch at Detroit’s Riverside Park.

WWJ Newsradio 950’s Ron Dewey reports the unidentified male body was found early Monday morning in the park, which is located on the city’s southwest side in the shadow of the Ambassador Bridge.

Detroit Police Investigators said someone called 911 and reported seeing the body floating in the water.

The Wayne County Medical Examiner’s office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
