Skidmore Nears Return To Detroit, Gets New Clients

Skidmore Studio, a creative agency about to move from Royal Oak to the Madison Theatre building in Detroit, announced the addition of five new clients. Seeking a range of services from branding and marketing strategy to creative development of Web sites and videos, these clients, which signed on in the past month, represent the automotive, industrial and retail industries as well as the public sector. They include Current Motor Co., St. Clair County Economic Development Alliance, Conti Electric and Detroit Radiant Heat.

Skidmore has already begun work with Current Motor, an Ann Arbor-based manufacturer and retailer of battery-operated scooters. The creative studio is assisting with the launch of the company, providing marketing strategy, brand development and interactive services. For the St. Clair County Economic Development Alliance, Skidmore is developing a new brand identity as well as promotional print collateral.

In addition, the creative studio will be producing a new Web site and print collateral for electrical systems integrator, Conti Electric as well as a series of educational videos about energy efficient heating systems for Detroit Radiant Heat.

"What is exciting about each of these new clients is that they understand the value in utilizing a complete suite of creative solutions into their marketing strategy," said Tim Smith, president and CEO of Skidmore Studio. "Our work is strengthened by the integration of illustration, design, Web and motion graphics."
