Job Description: CBS Radio Detroit seeks an Inside Digital Sales Account Executive who is passionate about developing relationships with local clients and partners through digit al products. Candidate needs to prospect, close and manage new relationships with local clients and partners seeking regional/local consumers through digital products. This candidate should be an expert in online search, directory and lead generation products. Candidate must work creatively to bring about awareness of online opportunities in synergy with the firms TV and Radio groups. Focused sales efforts towards online directory and search products.
Skills/Experience: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage multiple targets. Comfortable with prospecting and cold calling, closing sales over the phone. Identify clients needs and cultivate effective sales strategies via phone. Technically savvy and proficient with sophisticated advertising programs and delivery methodologies. Ability to multi task, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast paced, deadline oriented team environment. Interpersonal skills to work closely with other teams and clients in a team like manner.
Upbeat positive manner. Competitive drive. New business “hunter’ mentality. Creative prospecting skills. Must have valid driver’s license and insurance.
Preferred Skills: 2-3 years experience in selling digital products. Online search and directory a plus.
