Fireworks A Feast For The Eyes

DETROIT (WWJ) - Tens of thousands of people came to Detroit to get the closest look at the spectacular display in the sky.

WWJ's Kathryn Larson reports people came from far and wide to watch the fireworks including Jasmyn Kick and her mom from Germany who say that they've never seen a fireworks display like the one Monday night: "It's kind of spectacular," said Jasmyn.

Kick brought her camera and says some of the shots were hard to get, but she got some nice pictures in the end.

This year's fireworks were a first for a Belleville man.

Kevin Wilson says he was very impressed by the fireworks, and will probably bring his wife to see these next year.
