If you missed this past Sunday’s UFC on Versus 4’s main event you missed an incredible come from behind victory. Pat Barry took on Cheick Kongo in a heavyweight matchup featuring two very skilled standup strikers. After a feeling out process Barry was able to land a couple of nice shots to Kongo’s head and knock him down. Barry then followed it up with a couple more punches to Kongo while he was down and trying to regain his composure. Just as referee Dan Miragliotta was stepping in to stop the fight he saw Kongo still trying to defend himself. Although woozy, somehow Kongo was able to get back to his feet. Barry smelled blood and pushed forward to try to finish Kongo off. As Kongo backed up to cage on wobbled legs he threw a right hook that stunned Barry and then another vicious right hook that knocked out Barry cold to win the fight. It was completely unexpected and the most shocking knockout I have ever witnessed in MMA!
