Teen Charged As Adult In Graduation Shooting
DETROIT (WWJ) - A teenager is being charged as an adult after an 8th grade graduation celebration in Detroit last Friday took a tragic turn.
Fifteen-year-old Antonio Fletcher and a group of young males allegedly crashed the party yelling-out the gang name: RTM (Related Through Money).
Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy alleges that when the host's mother asked Fletcher and his crew to leave, the teen pulled a gun and fired into the crowd striking three people.
"His shot hit a female and two males, who suffered serious injuries, and were conveyed to a local hospital for treatment," said Worthy.
Fletcher faces possible life in prison on three counts of assault with intent to murder and 2-years behind bars for one count of felony firearm.
