Stoney's Blog: You May Hate Them But They Do Have A Catchy Toon
I have never liked the New York Mets. Growing up in an National League town ,it was the Mets, not the Yankees I despised. I might be the only person in America who hated the great Tom Seaver because he was too much of an "All-American Boy" type of person. But, there is one thing my Philadelphia Phillies could never compete with the Mets on and that was their song. Yes it was corny and campy, but there was something about the song "Meet The Mets" that made me laugh. So with the Mets in town I think we should all sit back and enjoy "Meet The Mets"
