Name Released Of Man Found Dead In River

MILFORD (AP) - Authorities have released the name of a 56-year-old man whose body was found in the Huron River in Oakland County. Milford police say an angler spotted the body about 6 p.m. Tuesday.

The Oakland Press of Pontiac says authorities identify the man as David Olesko of Milford. The Oakland County Medical Examiner's office is trying to determine what killed him.

Police Chief Thomas Callahan says it isn't clear how long the man was in the water.  The site is about 30 miles west-northwest of Detroit.

The Oakland County Sheriff's Department marine unit helped recover the man's body.
