Bad Weather Cancels Greenfield Village Salute To America

DEARBORN (WWJ) – The weather hampering the plans of many around the area this holiday weekend.

One event, in particular, that was effected by the severe storms that rolled through the area Saturday night was the Salute To America concert at Greenfield Village.

The concert was canceled as heavy rain began to pour down on attendees at the sold out event. However, Wendy Metros – with The Henry Ford – says the tickets will still be honored:

“We’ll do an exchange for a DSO performance at another time, another date, and also it’s good for a daytime visit to the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village,” said Metros.

Metros says people who had tickets for the performance should visit the Henry Ford website for more detailed information.
